Bugs Bunny is one of the heros of our childhoods. Around for nearly seventy years, he's outwitted, outsmarted and crossdressed his way through many a situation. After watching one of the cartoons I haven't seen in some time, I realize that we love him not because of his brains or his way of winning, but because he is a hero that is also a villan. They say modern cartoons are violent, but there is a bloodless malice to the old merry melodies that is hard to miss. Bugs is the worst propagator of this violence and sometimes attacks innocnets like a mouse on his piano in the toon I just watched.
...yeah. I'm at work right now. We opened an hour earlier for Christmas and there is quite literally no one here. Still I better speed this up since I am on company time. Finals are only a few hours from done and then blessed quiet for a few days. Hello my lovelies out there in tv land! I miss and love you all.
Next week is back to rockland, so call me if you want to hang!
